The area shown on the map above is the area designated as Uptown Greensboro. As you can see it is situated to the north and east of Downtown Greensboro. No one pays me to do this and the opinions expressed here are my own unless I note otherwise but if you'd like to leave me a tip there's a Paypal button to the left of every page on this website.
What I will be doing here is promoting the idea of establishing an Uptown Greensboro commercial and mixed use district where small businesses can flourish and people know one another-- a thriving town within a city like this very neighborhood used to be when I was younger. So what's in this for me? Nothing unless you donate or buy advertising. But I dream of finding a dirt cheap Uptown Greensboro location for the Carolina Motorcycle Cooperative that will soon be opening in nearby Burlington, NC. You see, motorcycles are my first love and making them more affordable is an idea I can get behind.
